Reports

123Signup provides dozens of standard reports divided into the following categories:

  • Event Reports
  • Membership Reports
  • Finance Reports
  • Survey Reports

Most reports are available in both PDF and CSV format. The short description of each report will specify if a report is only available in a single format. PDF reports are "hard-copy", formatted reports that can be opened with Adobe Acrobat reader. The CSV format is a downloadable file that can be opened with Excel and/or imported into other programs like FileMaker or Access.

To create a report in PDF format:
  • Select the report you want to run from the list
  • A default name for the report is provided in the Report Name: textbox. This is the name that will be displayed for that report in the Recently Run Reports list. You can modify the report name if you wish to provide an unique report name unique for easy identification.
  • Different reports have different search criteria that you can specify at run time. Enter the criteria for the chosen report.
  • Click the Create Report button. This will submit the report request to the server, and the report name will be displayed in the Report list with a yellow status dot.
  • Click the Refresh button below the Report list. When the report is ready to be viewed, the status dot will change to green. (You may have to click the Refresh button more than once.)
  • Please note: Each report provides a snapshot of the data as it was at the specific date/time that the report was created. If you want an updated version of a report, you must run the report again.
To create a file of the report data in csv format:
  • Select the report you want to run from the list
  • Enter the search criteria for the chosen report.
  • Click the Download button. This will submit the report request to the server. While the file is being prepared, a "Downloading Report" page will be displayed.
  • When the file has been created, the behavior will depend on what browser you are using and how your computer is configured. The possibilities are:
    • A dialog box will appear asking whether you want to open the file or save it to your hard drive
    • The file will open in the browser window itself
    • Excel will automatically launch and the file will open
    • The file will automatically download to your designated download folder
If the Recently Run Reports list is displayed and you don’t know what happened to the file, then the security settings on your browser may be blocking the download. Try one of these methods to resolve the issue:
  • Turn off pop-up blockers for *.123signup.com, then rerun the download
  • Add https://*.123signup.com to your browser’s list of trusted sites and rerun the download
  • Check for a yellow bar across the top of your screen saying the download has been blocked. Click on the bar, allow the download, then go through the steps to create the file again.
  • Rerun the Download, but hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard before clicking the Download button, and keep it held down until the file opens.

Please note: Download requests will not appear in the list of Recently Run reports
